Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the NorthIRdev website at northirdev.com, custom software development services, and the NorthIRdev Diagrams workspace.

By submitting a project inquiry, creating a Diagrams account, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

Services

NorthIRdev provides custom software development services including websites, web applications, APIs, and related technical work. Package descriptions and pricing on the website are indicative guides only. Final scope, timeline, and price are agreed in writing before paid work begins.

NorthIRdev Diagrams is a separate free product for creating and sharing diagrams. It is provided as-is without uptime guarantees. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.

Project inquiries

Submitting the project inquiry form does not create a binding contract. We will review your request and contact you to discuss requirements. A separate written agreement (email or document) is required before any paid work starts.

Payment

Unless otherwise agreed, paid work begins only after scope is confirmed in writing. Builds typically use milestone payments (for example an upfront portion to commence work and a balance on delivery). Secure card payment via Stripe Checkout may be offered for agreed amounts when enabled, or you may pay by bank transfer / invoice as agreed in writing.

Stripe processes online card payments; we do not store your full card number. Invoices are payable within the timeframe stated on the invoice. Work may be paused if payment is overdue.

Intellectual property

Upon full payment, you receive ownership or a licence to the deliverables as specified in your project agreement, including agreed repository and hosting access. NorthIRdev retains the right to reuse general techniques, libraries, and non-client-specific code patterns. We may showcase completed work in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing before delivery.

Revisions and scope changes

Two rounds of feedback-based revisions are included in standard website, automation, and portal builds unless your agreement states otherwise. Additional revisions or scope changes outside the agreed deliverables may be quoted separately. Larger engagements may include a clearly bounded post-launch defect-fix window when scoped upfront.

Diagrams acceptable use

You must not use Diagrams to store unlawful content, attempt to access other users' diagrams without permission, abuse share links, or overload the service. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NorthIRdev's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees paid by you for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland and the United Kingdom. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
