Who

A family-founded software company

NorthIRdev is a software development and digital solutions company based in Northern Ireland, founded by Abdirahman Ahmed. We help organisations build modern, scalable, and user-friendly digital products across web, mobile, AI-powered solutions, and business automation.

Projects are scoped, built, tested, and shipped by Najah Abdirahman — you work directly with the developer on your project, not a hand-off to a faceless agency team.

We work across the stack: Next.js and TypeScript for the web, Python and FastAPI for APIs, PostgreSQL for data, and when the problem demands it, systems-level work (C, Assembly, Linux). The IDE preview on the home page is intentional: we are comfortable from product UI down to the metal.

Why

Direct, technical delivery

Businesses large and small need software that fits how they actually operate, not a generic template or a quote that disappears into a ticket queue. I started NorthIRdev to offer direct, technical delivery: you describe the problem, we agree scope and payment up front, and I build and maintain what we agreed.

I also use this site as a reference build — inquiry flow, API-backed pricing, deposits, admin review, email alerts, monitoring, and CI — so you can see how I ship, not only what I claim on a slide.

After delivery

Support when you need it

Launch is not the end of the relationship. Post-go-live fixes, small enhancements, and maintenance can be quoted separately once the original scope is delivered. Platinum packages can include agreed support windows when scoped upfront.

What

Client services, not a SaaS product

NorthIRdev is a client services business:

1. You choose a package (Silver through Platinum) or send a custom inquiry.
2. You pay a deposit (Stripe) or start with a project request if you want to talk scope first.
3. I deliver the agreed work — landing pages, web apps, APIs, integrations — with clear communication and revisions included per package.
